Biography
MCE
Marianna is an Organisational Psychology Consultant and a Doctoral researcher in Gender and Leadership at the University of London. She brings to MCE’s leadership and people management practice her deep expertise in Interpersonal and Leadership skills. Marianna applies her in-depth psychoanalytic knowledge to the intricacies of human behaviour and workplace relationships to improve leadership and collaboration with the ultimate goal of improving organisational performance. After graduating from the Hellenic Society of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, Marianna moved to the UK in 2011 and founded her consultancy company. Marianna specializes in executive coaching, leadership, gender and leadership, work-life balance, best communication practices and team processes involving conflict resolution and intercultural management. She has designed and delivered a wide range of workshops for AMA GLOBAL and is an experienced instructional designer and facilitator.
Marianna worked in Greece where she set up her private practice as a clinical psychologist and therapist. She has conducted speeches on personal boundaries at the workplace, assertiveness and personal achievement. At the same time she worked as a freelance consultant with Team Management Consultants in Greece, delivering workshops on effective communication, dealing with stress, teambuilding, leadership and conflict resolution.
Previous to this, Marianna joined Merrill Lynch (London) in 1999 where she worked for the International Private Client division managing accounts for Ultra high net worth individuals. She has worked in various sectors, mainly pharmaceuticals, banks, universities, public organizations, technology and oil industries (MerrillLynch, Sabic, MOL group, Novartis, Boehringer Ingleheim, Aventis, Roche, IPA, Sony-Ericsson, IGT, Paypal and Ebay). Marianna is currently pursuing her doctoral research in Organizational Psychology on Women and Leadership at the University of London. She studied Psychology at Southampton Univeristy UK and completed a Masters’ degree in Counseling Psychology at City University, London, in 1998. She studied psychoanalytic psychotherapy with the Hellenic Society of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (2005-2010). She is a certified user of the INSIGHTS DISCOVERY, MBTI, HBDI, PPA (DISC) and the Thomas Killman. She is also a certified online facilitator. She is a member of the British Psychological Society and the Health Professions Council in the UK.
