Philippe’s extensive international expertise in People and Organization development, leadership, strategy and management development has been built over a 30-year career in key Human Resources roles and senior positions in Information Management, Planning and Finance with international companies in Europe, the Americas, China. His work included leading major transformation projects concerning business realignment, M&A, talent and performance improvement, organization and culture change as in safety, as well as developing strategic tools to align business performance. Philippe has worked with many countries around the world and uses his cross-cultural sensitivity to deliver global programs across different cultures, languages, businesses and functions.

Professional background

In 2018, Philippe decided to provide global consultancy, advice to senior leaders, leadership development, executive and team coaching. Prior to founding his business, Philippe worked 8 years for Bekaert (€4bln 30 000 people all over the world), as VP HR for the wire business, Global Talent Learning and Organization Development. He led the global matrix reorganization as a trusted advisor to the business. Designed and rolled out a target setting cascade ensuring business performance and alignment, simplified talent and potential assessment and led talent management and succession planning for top management. Next to running leadership development workshops, he coached executives and regional executive teams to become top efficient teams. He developed a change management toolkit and redesigned performance management processes including a workshop for top senior managers on empowerment & accountability. Prior to Bekaert, Philippe worked for 22 years at Shell, starting as a technologist, finance controller manager for Belgium and for Shell Downstream Europe in London and in several senior HR positions in business and corporate level. He was responsible for implementing major transformation and organization changes as the divestment of a big unionized petrochemical site in France without business disruptions. He acted as trusted business partner and coach to develop senior leaders and high potentials.

Education and qualifications

Philippe holds an MS Mechanical Engineering University of Louvain La Neuve, Belgium. He is a certified Coach. An Emotional Intelligence and MBTI Certified practitioner.
