Katie Kensit

Katie Kensit’s aim is to encourage others through self-awareness and effective communication to create satisfying working relationships and unity.

Katie studied English Literature and History at Goldsmiths, University of London, and has a postgraduate diploma in Acting. As an actor, she has worked in everything from classical theatre, films, commercials, voiceovers, and television (and yes, she has appeared in Eastenders). With her love for acting and expressing creativity, Katie enjoys encouraging this in others, particularly children and has coached and directed ages 2-18 years in plays and film projects.

Recently she has become part of a female collective production company Little Alley Pictures who write, direct and produce films that focus on women’s stories.

In the corporate world, Katie has worked in hospitality and conferences as an events manager and in sales. These roles gave her the opportunity to observe and experience working relationships. As well as being able to delegate, work productively to deadlines, influence and negotiate, all whilst making sure everyone was having an enjoyable time!

She co-founded a startup The Ignition, that has a unique approach combining physical exercise with mindset changes promoting the idea that a strong mind in a strong body helps connect us to a happy life. In addition to hosting workshops, they present for a YouTube well-being channel Tonic and at various events.

Katie couldn’t believe her luck when she discovered Impact Factory, the perfect place for the next step in her life adventure. It has allowed her to bring all previous experiences together as well as providing a wonderful opportunity for continual personal development. As we are most able to guide others when we’ve experienced and learned ourselves.

At Impact Factory, she is passionate about helping others find their spark and enthusiasm by building confidence and embracing individual positive strengths. Her aim is to encourage others through self-awareness and effective communication to create satisfying working relationships and unity.
