Tong Yew Kwan

Dr Tong Yew Kwan has a PhD in Organizational Behavior and MBA (NUS), as well as a Master of Counselling from Monash University. He obtained his BSc in Quantitative Economics (Distinction) from University of Toronto in Canada.

His corporate work experience was mainly in HR management spanning the banking, medical and port industries. On entering the academic field in later years, Yew Kwan has been an executive coach, Research Fellow, Lecturer, and administrator in NUS. He is now an adjunct lecturer with NUS Business School.

He has co-authored publications in peer-reviewed management journals Health Care Management Review, International Journal of Selection and Assessment, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management Development, and The Leadership Quarterly. He has also consulted for the Ministry of Defence and the private sector.

He currently heads research at SPARKD, a fitness tech business startup which specializes in training for cognitive-motor fitness
