Statistician with particular interests in evidence synthesis and in the evaluation of interventions in oral health.
Biography
Tanya is a Reader in Biostatistics in the Division of Dentistry.
She joined the School of Dentistry as a Lecturer to teach Biostatistics to staff and postgraduate students and to provide statistical advice to researchers. More recently Tanya has developed her own research portfolio as a statistician with particular interests in evidence synthesis and clinical trials.
Tanya is a Statistical Editor with Cochrane Oral Health and the Cochrane Diagnostic Test Accuracy Editorial Team. She is also a Steering Group Member of the North West Evidence Synthesis Network, a joint undertaking of the Univerity of Manchester and the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE). The Network aims to bring together health researchers, guideline developers and policy makers with an interest in evidence reviews from across Greater Manchester and the North West.
