 Manager & Adjunct Professor at First Nations Health Authority

My experience and deep interests:

I am based in: Vancouver

 

I am the Manager for the Drinking Water Safety Program at the First Nations Health Authority with programmatic responsibly for supporting community access to safe and reliable water supplies and building capacity for first nations communities in British Columbia. I am an Adjunct Professor in the School of Population and Public Health at the University of British Columbia where I lecture on global environmental health and climate change. My Ph.D. in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine focused on influences of livelihood, poverty and policy on access to water resources in rural South-western Uganda. I have worked on environmental, public health, and equity issues in government, consulting, industry, academia and a non-governmental organization in Europe, North America, Africa and Asia. My interests include resource access, use, and policy; equity; social determinants of health and wellbeing; and social and environmental adaptation and innovation.
