Karen leads with her values of wonderment, empowerment, connection, joy, prosperity and presence. The titles she is most proud of are mom, wife, sister, daughter and non-profit enthusiast.
Karen is a triple-certified Executive Leadership and Mental Wellness Coach through the International Coaching Federation, Co-Active Training Institute and Lyra Health. With over 15 years of leadership and change management experience, Karen is in high demand for her interactive, thought-provoking approach to leadership. She has helped start-ups both soar and shut down, been in the CEO role as well as supported nonprofit executives with strategic, operational and technical change.
Karen currently teaches at the University of Denver, playing a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of corporate leaders through transformational programming. Karen is also the founder of Empowerlead where she provides 1:1 coaching and leadership workshops for people looking to lead from their authentic values, kick their addiction to external validation, and pursue their most fulfilling life.
