Bill Sheehan

Bill Sheehan’s goal is always to ensure training in the room translates to changed behaviour in real life. To this end, he bases training on scientific principles and research but focuses most time on the practical application of straightforward tools and techniques in real-world situations.

Bill has BSc Honours in Human Psychology from Loughborough University and also trained as an actor. After University, life took an unexpected turn when a six-month trip to Hong Kong (ostensibly to teach English) turned into a four-year relocation. Bill spent those years acting in plays, films, and TV, fronting the Oxford University Press English Teaching video series and becoming a ‘dubbing artist’. Lip sync dubbing (putting an English-speaking voice over foreign, usually Cantonese films) For a couple of years he was the official English voice of Hong Kong star Jackie Chan!

He believes that combining Psychology and Acting techniques allow us to create the most fruitful learning environment and the most successful learner journey. Using the Experiential Model for training helps learners get it as well as just logically understanding it.

At Impact Factory, Bill specializes in Presentations Skills, Storytelling, Personal Impact, Assertiveness, Negotiation, and Customer Service and he’s absolutely brilliant at Forum Theatre. He has worked with clients from diverse organisations such as Coca-Cola, Taylor Wimpey, The European Food Standards Agency, The United Nations, The Government Actuary’s Department, ECI Private Equity, Sainsbury Family Charitable Trust, Vue Cinemas, Sunlife of Canada and Universal Pictures.

Bill also offers 1-2-1 coaching to many of our senior clients.

Outside of Impact Factory Bill owns a Video Production company that specialises in producing training films for GPs that have been used around the UK and beyond for the last 8 years.
