Dr. Xi Meng graduated from the Department of Human Resources Management of Nanjing University in 2012 with a bachelor's degree. In 2015, he joined the Robinson School of Business at Georgia State University as a joint doctoral student in the United States. In 2017, he graduated from the Department of Human Resources Management of Nanjing University Business School and received a Doctor’s degree in Management.
His main research areas are employment relationship management, employee wellbeing, leadership, and strategic human resource practices. He is chairing a Youth Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and a MOE (Ministry of Education in China) Youth Project of Humanities and Social Science. He is a member of both the American Academy of Management (AOM) and the International Association of Chinese Management Research (IACMR). He was also a student representative of IACMR. He has published more than 10 papers in both Chinese and English high-quality academic journals, such as Industrial and Labor Relations Review (ILR Review), Asia Pacific Journal of Management (APJM), Chinese Management Studies, Nankai Business Review (Chinese), Business Management Journal (Chinese), Chinese Journal of Management, and Management Review (Chinese). In addition, he has participated in the annual meetings of the Academy of Management, the biennial meeting of the International Association of Chinese Management Research, and other large-scale conferences at home and abroad many times.
