Trina Chang

Dr. Chang is the director of community-based studies at the DCRP. She is an associate psychiatrist at MGH and an assistant professor at Harvard Medical School. And she is the principal investigator of a study of a group intervention to promote behavior change and treatment adherence in Spanish-speaking patients with diabetes, funded by a K23 mentored career development award from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases. She is the assistant medical director for behavioral health at Partners Center for Population Health, focusing on efforts to integrate behavioral health management with primary care. Dr. Chang’s research interests include mental health in underserved/disadvantaged populations, behavior change, and the interface of psychiatry and primary care (including collaborative care models and the care of patients with diabetes).
