Professor Tony Kmetty completed his BBA-Marketing and MA-Counseling at Loyola Marymount and is excited about returning to his alma mater as a member of the CBA faculty. Over the past 25 years, he has worked as an administrator and lecturer at a variety of US business schools ranging from Thunderbird, the University of San Diego and Pepperdine to European schools such as London Business School (UK), Central European University (Hungary) and IEDC-School of Management (Slovenia). At LMU, Professor Kmetty will be developing, integrating and delivering career management concepts and practices by teaching CBA freshmen and working with all other students to determine their career goals and how all courses and internships will help them succeed in achieving those goals.

Professor Kmetty has conducted research into university leadership styles in Central Europe as well as “The marketing and branding of European universities following the implementation of the Bologna Accord” that was performed in collaboration with JWT-Education for clients at the European Centre for Strategic Management of Universities in Brussels. He has developed and modified a program called “Career Visioning” that encourages students to closely examine their skills, interests, ideologies and the marketplace to develop aligned career goals.
