Nyenrode Business University

Ton Daniels is a professor at the Center for Financial Reporting & Tax. His research and teaching focuses on the taxation of financial institutions and the regulation of financial services within the EU.

 

In 1991, Ton obtained his PhD at Tilburg University. He graduated at that university in 1984 (summa cum laude). In his inaugural lecture at Nyenrode Business Universiteit he addressed the relationship between taxation and the post-crisis regulation of banks.

 

Other positions
Since 2000, Ton is a tax partner at EY in Amsterdam. His clients include banks, regulated investment managers, pension funds and global custodians.

 

From 1990 until 2000 he worked at Baker & McKenzie Amsterdam.
