Biography

I am a senior lecturer in Statistics at the School of Mathematics and Statistics, the University of Melbourne. I received my Ph.D. in Statistics from Colorado State University in 2012 and my bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Tsinghua University in 2007. From 2012 – 2017, I worked as an Assistant Professor at Renmin University of China between 2012 – 2017.

My current research interest includes

  • spatial statistics, spatio-temporal statistics
  • machine learning with application to spatio-temporal data
