Tina Young Poussaint

Tina Young Poussaint, MD, FACR is Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School and is the Lionel W. Young Chair in Radiology at Boston Children’s Hospital where has served as an Attending Neuroradiologist. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Mount Holyoke College (magna cum laude) where she was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Society. She received her MD with honors from Yale University School of Medicine where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. After an internship in pediatrics at Yale-New Haven Hospital (YNHH), she completed residency training in diagnostic radiology and a fellowship in neuroradiology at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). After serving on the neuroradiology faculty at MGH, and she then joined the faculty at Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr. Poussaint is board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Neuroradiology.

Dr. Poussaint also serves as Director of Neuro-oncologic Imaging and as Director of the Pediatric Neuroradiology Fellowship. She is a Fellow of the American College of Radiology (ACR) and has served in several professional organizations including the ASNR, RSNA and SPR. She is a Past-President and Gold Medal Recipient of the American Society of Pediatric Neuroradiology (ASPNR). She is Past-President of the American Society of Neuroradiology. Dr. Poussaint is the Chair of the Institutional Review Board of Boston Children’s Hospital.
