Biography

Boxall established his own practice in 1995, specialising in business contracts and property. A senior scholar in the Department of Construction Economics and Management at UCT, Boxall’s primary interest is in teaching and learning and, particularly in recent years, helping non-lawyers understand the law. He lectures to graduates and undergraduates in Law and Ethics at the University of Cape Town, and holds a BA (Hons) (English Language), LLM (Commercial Law) and an MBA, all from the University of Cape Town. His current research interests are in construction contracts and contractual theory.
