Stefan Legge is a Lecturer in Economics and Head of Tax & Trade Policy at the University of St.Gallen in Switzerland. He received his PhD in Economics and Finance from the University of St.Gallen in 2016 after having obtained an M.A. in Economics from St.Gallen as well as a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Mannheim. During his graduate studies, he held visiting positions at Princeton, UC Berkeley, and UC San Diego. His dissertation was awarded the 2016 Best Dissertation in Economics Prize. Furthermore, he received the 2014 Swiss Young Economist Award. His research focuses on international trade and political economy. He published in leading economics journals and teaches at undergraduate, graduate, MBA, and Executive MBA level.
