Prof. Dr. Stefan Brass, co-founder and now external advisor to the law firm, holds a chair in civil law and corporate law at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences.

Stefan Brass was a lawyer at a major English law firm and then head of the legal department of a listed industrial company. After studying law, Prof. Dr. Brass initially spent several years at the Institute for Law and Finance (ILF) at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main as a research assistant to Prof. Dr. dr hc mult. Theodor Baums. His dissertation on corporate and capital market law was awarded the German Corporate Law Prize by the commercial law firm CMS Hasche Sigle. In addition to his work as a lawyer, Prof. Dr. Brass lecturer at the private university Frankfurt School of Finance & Management for several years.

Stefan Brass has many years of expertise in the areas of M&A and corporate, in particular in the legal structuring of transactions in England, Italy, France and Spain. In the field of renewable energies, he structured numerous cross-border photovoltaic transactions and advised clients on all thematically related contracts such as engineering, procurement and construction contracts (EPC), share purchase contracts and contracts for technical and/or commercial management (O&M). Since his appointment as a university lecturer, he has now provided the firm's lawyers with his expertise in transactions and other civil and corporate law mandates as an external advisor.
