Saira Jesani

As a Partner at SYPartners, Saira brings the principles of science and design into the world of business. It means she works alongside the C-suite to not only craft the visions of their companies but also engineer the tools that will concretely bring those visions to life.

Before joining SYPartners, Saira honed her mastery of research and storytelling as a science journalist at Seed—then, a printed magazine with a cult design following—that looked at art, policy, design, economics, history, the world through the lens of science. She went on to join the magazine’s data business, which helped organizations like the United Nations use data visualization to surface global trends.

Saira was born in Kenya, and also lived in Ghana, Canada, Lebanon, Poland, and England before moving to New York City. She spends her free time running social experiments in the city. Saira received her B.S. in Microbiology and Immunology, with minors in Business, Biotechnology, and Arabic from McGill University in Montreal.
