About me

I am an assistant professor at the Finance Department at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.

My research interests are in financial intermediation, monetary economics, and corporate finance.

Research

My research interests are at the intersection between finance and macroeconomics, with a focus on topcis in financial intermediation, monetary economics, corporate finance, and climate finance.

My recent work tackles questions surrounding financial regulation in the context of the transition to a low-carbon economy, investor demand for sustainable investing, as well as the rise of intangible capital and its implications for corporate financing, investment, and monetary policy.

Teaching

At Erasmus University Rotterdam, I am currently teaching the course Money and Banking. The course runs from September - November, and is aimed at advanced undergraduate students. It covers topics around money, interest rates, stock and bond markets, banking, financial regulation, financial crises, and monetary policy.

I am also involved in supervising several master theses, with a focus on topics in financial intermediation.
