After MD-PhD training at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Hung completed residency training in Anatomic Pathology and fellowship training in Thoracic Pathology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston. Dr. Hung is a Board-Certified anatomic pathologist in the Department of Pathology at Massachusetts General Hospital. In addition to providing diagnostic evaluation and intraoperative consultation for patients’ surgical specimens, Dr. Hung investigates diagnostic, prognostic, and predictive biomarkers for better classification, management, and treatment of pleural/peritoneal mesothelioma, lung cancer, and sarcomas. Dr. Hung also serves as the Medical Director of the Immunohistochemistry Laboratory in the Department of Pathology at Massachusetts General Hospital.
