Biography

Dr. Taylor has served as an assistant professor at the University of Southern Indiana, and held academic positions at Mississippi State University, and the City Colleges of Chicago. She is a member of the Planning and Scholarship Committee of the Washington Alliance for Black School Educators 2005 Conference, an advisory board member of Seattle University’s Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, among membership on numerous committees involving social justice. Dr. Taylor’s research interests center on multicultural education and social justice, and she is a frequent speaker and contributor to academic journals on these topics.
