Pamela Schwikkard

PJ Schwikkard has been a Professor of Public Law at UCT since 2001. Her primary research interests lie in the intersection of human rights, evidence, criminal law and procedure. She has written numerous articles and book chapters in this area. Professor Schwikkard is a co-author of Principles of Evidence which is currently in its 4 edition (5th edition due 2023), she has written two other books and edited a further seven. She has also been the lead author of a number of South African Law Reform Commission reports.
