Olivier Bochet’s research is in the area of mechanism and market design and combines both theoretical and experimental methods. Fundamental themes at the core of his research are incentives, efficiency, and equity. His work has been published in leading economic journals such as the Journal of Economic Theory, Games and Economic Behavior and Theoretical Economics. He is one of the founding researchers of the Center for Behavioral Institutional Design. Prior to joining NYUAD, Olivier Bochet held positions at the University of Bern, Maastricht University and the University of Montreal.
