As an independent Executive Coach and Organizational Development Consultant, I enjoy helping individuals and teams to gain insights and awareness about themselves, by exploring their roles and conscious and unconscious processes and dynamics in their organizations.

I have lived abroad most of my life, and apart from my native The Netherlands, I lived in the US, South Africa, Germany, and Switzerland, where I currently live and have lived over half of my life. My interest and focus in coaching and consulting are unconscious processes, mainly anything that goes on "under the surface" that influences how people take up their roles (also referred to as system psycho-dynamics). For the last five years, I have trained in this approach at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust in London, UK and I am continuing to study it. I guess that “asking difficult or uncomfortable questions” has always been something I was driven by, as a child, and as a young adult during my Journalism studies.

After having worked in a commercial role for a business school for 17 years, I decided to focus more time on our start-up and explore independence. I now work with different clients, helping them to think about what is going on in their organizations, helping them to address difficult but necessary topics. And for the last five years, I have volunteered at the Malawian-based social enterprise and educational fund Kwera, where I help to develop the online program for students to increase their employability.
