Eugene W. Stetson School of Business and Economics

Dr. Horn earned his Ph.D. in strategic management from Florida State University after obtaining an M.B.A. and B.A. in business administration in management and entrepreneurship from Kennesaw State University. He is a business consultant for the health care administration industry and holds memberships in the Academy of Management, Southern Management Association and Southeastern Case Research Association. Prior to entering the field of higher education, he worked as associate director of the graduate business programs office at Kennesaw State University, director of technology at Cobb Microenterprise Center and was an independent business owner. Before migrating to the U.S., he served 10 years in the German Air Force and worked as a federal administrative clerk for the German Department of Defense. He held prior academic appointments at Millsaps College, Valdosta State University and the University of North Georgia. He published numerous articles in management and Case Research journals and presented his research at prestigious academic conferences. His research interests are in the areas of organizations and the natural environment, sustainability and corporate social responsibility. His main consulting projects are in workforce improvement through first line supervisor training in the adults with intellectual developmental disabilities industry.
