Marjo-Riitta (Maikki) Diehl received her PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Science. In her thesis, she examined the role of reciprocity in the employment relationship, using the concept of psychological contract as a theoretical framework. Prior to joining the EBS, she worked at the Swedish School of Economics and Business Administration (Hanken) and at the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health in Finland and at the International Labour Office in Switzerland. Maikki Diehl has published her research in international and Finnish journals, including Human Relations, Journal of Managerial Psychology, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Personnel Review, Finnish Journal of Business Economics and Työ ja Ihminen. Maikki Diehl is an invited senior reviewer for Journal of Organizational Behavior and actively reviews for a number of journals, including Human Relations and Journal of Managerial Psychology. She is a founding member and representative of Germany at the International Committee of the Organizational Behavior Division of the Academy of Management.
