Biography
Leon Lasdon holds the David Bruton, Jr. Centennial Chair in Business Decision Support Systems, Department of Information, Risk, and Operations Management. Leon Lasdon received his B.S. from Syracuse University and his M.S. and Ph.D. from the Case Institute of Technology. His research and teaching interests include large scale systems optimization, nonlinear optimization, optimization software and applications, decision support systems, and applications of operations research.
