Assistant Professor of Psychiatry

Biography

Dr. Laurie Potter is the Clinical Academic Head of the Department of Psychiatry, which supports all inpatient and community-based Addiction and Mental Health Services in the Saint John area.

She is originally from Newfoundland and relocated to New Brunswick in 2007.

Dr. Potter has also worked at Homewood Health in Ontario as the Chief of Regional Services and Clinical Education. She is passionate about exceptional patient care, evidence-based medicine, physician leadership, medical education, healthy workplaces, and continuous quality improvement using Lean Six Sigma principles.
