Biography
Sciences Po
I am a research director at the CNRS. Before joining the Center Maurice Halbwachs, I was Assistant professor/Faculty fellow at the Institute of French Studies at New York University .
In 2021-22, I was Visiting Scholar at the Graduate Center, City University of New York, then at the Institute of French Studies, New York University. I conducted a survey of executives in charge of sustainability programs in large companies in the United States.
My research lies at the crossroads of three fields of analysis: political sociology and law; the sociology of gender and discrimination; the sociology of work and organizations.
I first investigated the mobilizations for parity in France, which led me to a critical reflection on the boundary between social movements and political institutions, at the heart of the space category of the cause of women . I then conducted a comparative survey on diversity and inclusion policies in large companies, looking at diversity managers and their ordinary work, in France and in the United States. The book resulting from this research, entitled The management of virtue. Diversity in business, in New York and Paris will be published by Presses de Sciences Po in January 2023. My current research focuses on theexecutives responsible for sustainable development policies in large companies, in the United States and France , as part of the ANR ProVirCap program.
