Biography

Kyle Rupnow (M’00–SM’16) received the B.S. degree in computer engineering and mathematics and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Madison, WI, USA, in 2003, 2006, and 2010, respectively.

He is currently the CTO of Inspirit-IoT, a design automation startup affiliated with the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign, Champaign, IL, USA. His current research interests include high-level synthesis, reconfigurable computing, and systems management of compute resources.,Dr. Rupnow has served on the Program Committees of field programmable gate arrays, field-programmable custom computing machines, field-programmable technology, field programmable logic and applications, and ReConfig.

He is an Associate Editor of ACM Transactions on Reconfigurable Technology and Systems, and has served as a Reviewer of the IEEE Transactions on Computer Aided Design, ACM Transactions on Design Automation of Electronic Systems, and the IEEE Transactions on Very Large-Scale Integration (VLSI) Systems.
