Melbourne Business School
Julia is a Principal at Melbourne Business School. She is an experienced leader and leadership development specialist. Previously, Julia was a Director at Nous Group and held senior positions at Australia Post and ANZ bank.
Julia has over 15 years of experience in helping organisations perform through their people. She uses contemporary thinking and evidence-based approaches to deliver behaviour change in the workplace, drawing on behavioural insights, psychodynamics, adult learning theories and human centred design to solve client problems and enable people performance. She has extensive experience working in complex, politically sensitive, large-scale organisations, state and national public sector departments and agencies.
Examples of her work include:
- Developed a custom 360 instrument to assess 120 executive level staff for an independent national agency to identify cohort level leadership development needs. The triangulated analysis of 360 data, qualitative coach insights and thirdly census data, surfaced additional culture and organisational design recommendations to enable the agency achieve its strategic plan.
- Designed a contemporary three month blended leadership program to help a state social insurer reset and uplift their team leadership capability.
- Co-designed a culture change intervention for a regional hospital network in Queensland, which supported staff and leaders have better workplace conversations and reduce instances of bullying and harassment in the workplace.
- Led the redesign of Melbourne Business School's open program portfolio, including their most senior leadership programs for executive and general management cohorts.
