Joshua Pederson is an assistant professor of humanities in the College of General Studies. He received a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Michigan and then went on to earn a Ph.D in Religion in Literature from Boston University. Joshua’s teaching and research interests include literature, especially religion and literature, the Bible, and ethics. He has several upcoming projects in including The Forsaken Son: Child Murder and Atonement in Modern American Fiction, due out in February. Joshua was the recipient of the Humanities Foundation Fellowship in 2008.
