Biography

Professor at FGV-EAESP. He develops projects and research in strategic management, business plans, indicator modeling, business intelligence and customer segmentation. He was CEO of Optimize Tecnologia; Executive Director of Business Development at CTIS Tecnologia S/A; Latin America Director, Informix Software Corporation; Technical Director, CPM Sistemas (Sao Paulo); Director of Professional Services, CPM Systems (Fort Lauderdale); and General Manager, Morgen Trading Company (New York), among others.

In the governmental area, he worked on strategic projects for the Government of the State of São Paulo, in the area of public security (processes, databases and administrative modernization); he was a BACEN consultant for knowledge management; was advisor to Minister Paulo Jobim Filho, when he guided the preparation of inspection indicators for the Ministry of Labor and Employment. He was a professor at Fordham University, New York; and at the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was a founding member of the Society for Information Systems. He was an editorial advisor for the Journal for Global Information Systems. He is the author of 3 books, among which stands out Analytical Competence: Concepts and Strategies for Building the Intelligent Company, Editora Saraiva, 2013.
