Biography

Dr. Janghyuk Lee is a professor of marketing at Korea University, Business School (KUBS) in South Korea. He graduated from Seoul National University (B.A. in international economics) and from ESSEC (M.S. and Ph.D. in management). Before joining Korea University, he had a position at University of Reading (1999-2001) and HEC school of management (2001 to 2005). As well he visited Korea Advanced Institute of Technology (2005-2006), Tsing Hua University, School of Economics and Management (2009), Tsukuba University (2014), ESCP (2017, 2018), Telecom Ecole de Management (2017) and ESSEC (2019-2020) as a visiting professor. He is interested in loyalty program, customer lifetime value management and pin-point marketing by using social network analysis. He has published articles in journals such as Marketing Science, Communications for Association of Information System, Journal of Services Marketing, etc. In industry, he worked for Samsung Corp. (1990), and Samsung Electronics European Headquarter (1999-2001).
