Genny Ghanimeh is the founder and CEO of Pi Slice, a web based social platform which represents a new channel of funding for Micro Finance Institutions. During her talk she discussed how a life-changing trip to Africa brought her to negotiate a partnership agreement with MicroWorld from the PlaNet Finance Group to build and administer the first micro-lending online platform in the Middle East and North Africa, Pi Slice. She also discussed the general challenges that entrepreneurs face such as fund raising, and shared her lessons from her journey.
