Graduated from Bocconi University (Milan, Italy) in 2004 with a degree in Corporate management and business law. In 2004 starting academic experience as a professor in Accounting and Finance at Bocconi University and SDA Bocconi School of Management. In 2005 management consulting activity is added up to the academic one, thus gaining experience also in private sector. In 2008 moving to commercial banking, as portfolio manager mainly focused on small and medium enterprises. In 2013 joining Bank of Italy, initially as asset manager and then specializing on monetary policy implementation. Since 2017 stably in the ECB, initially working in financial stability department, then moving to the Single Supervisory Mechanism, firstly in horizontal supervision and then also focusing on direct banking supervision. Main activities: Asset Quality Review & Stress Testing; NPL reporting & management; ALM; Capital optimization; Risk management; IFRS 9 implementation; Quantitative Easing; CRM analysis; ERP modeling; Cost management; Corporate governance; M&A valuation. Software skills: Matlab, SAS, SPSS, Tableau.
