Erin co-teaches the Private Equity module for the EMBA cohorts and Investing in Private Markets elective for the MBA/MSc in Financial Economics/MSc Law and Finance with Professor Ludovic Phalippou.

She also contributed to his textbook Private Equity Laid Bare as well as the online program for Investing in Private Markets. Additionally, she works with the career centre on an annual event in conjunction with Level20 and the Diversity Project to rectify the gender imbalance in private equity. Finally, she is a strong supporter of the Private Equity Risk Management Symposium and assists to coordinate the ESG coverage.

With over twenty years of experience, Erin is currently a Director at StepStone Group (NASDAQ: STEP) and part of the Global Responsible Investment Committee, responsible for institutional investors in France, Belgium and Monaco.

Following more than a decade of legal practice in the USA and France, she transitioned to investor relations, helping to navigate the regulatory landscape and create sustainable solutions for asset owners. Bilingual with both French and American citizenship, she holds a Bachelor's of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley (double major in History and French) as well as a Juris Doctor from the McGeorge School of Law. She has been an active member of the State Bar of California since admission in 1994. In addition, she is an Ambassador for the Diversity Project, a member of Level20 as well as a Civilian Support Rider (Life Guards) for the Household Calvary Mounted Regiment. She is a regular speaker at industry events in Europe and is a member of the Professional Standards Committee and Responsible Investment Roundtable of Invest Europe.

Research

Erin loves language and works with technical publications to ensure consistent and accurate translations between French and English.

She works with students on the 50/50 challenge to achieve gender diversity in employment across the financial markets.
