Biography

Center for Technology and Management Education

David Shostak is a senior program manager who has led every aspect of high technology, marketing management, business development, and engineering programs. He has over 40 years of experience in technical, diversified fields. He has developed program plans, market strategy, analysis, marketing roadmaps, and maintenance documentation, and has presented to senior business executives, government officials, three-star generals, and customers. Mr. Shostak focuses on worldwide product launches, including interaction with European, Mideast, and Asian counterparts.

Mr. Shostak has worked for Hughes Aircraft Company, Rockwell International, and Interstate Electronics / L3 Communications. He has led teams with Magellan, RF Micro Devices, Semtech and Microsemi Corporation.

Mr. Shostak has led and supported several United States Navy radar and weapons control programs. He assisted in planning and conducting operational instruction and evaluation of the Navy F-14 Control and Display/Doppler Filter test station of the F-14/AWM 23 Ground Support Equipment and AWG-9 weapon system. Mr. Shostak also performed field engineering with the Avionics Maintenance Squadron where he was responsible for maintaining two working radar test stations. He also performed field maintenance on the AWG-9 Weapons Control system using F-14/AWM 23 Ground Support Equipment. Mr. Shostak led a significant effort on a Low Altitude Surveillance Radar system, where he coordinated strategy, hardware configuration and pricing data for the Forward Area Air Defense Sensor system.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, N.Y. and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
