Biography

Dr Cordula Barzantny, Professor of International Management at Toulouse Business School (TBS), lectures regularly to MBA and Executive classes on International and European Management. She has a Master’s degree in Economics and Management Sciences from the Technical University of Berlin, a Master in Management from ESC Toulouse and work experience in several countries of Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia. Prior to completing her PhD at Toulouse University I, her professional career was in finance, accounting and management control with Siemens. She also holds a Master in Management Development of the Euro-Arab Management School (EAMS) in Granada, Spain. Her main research interests are in cross-cultural management and leadership, multi-cultural teams and workgroup diversity, culture change and corporate control. With these topics she is a regular trainer and facilitator for Executive Development Programmes and works on various consulting, coaching and training assignments with corporations such as Airbus, Air France Industries, AF KLM Group, Alcatel Space, British Aerospace, EADS, Liebherr Aerospace, ICL Europe, Paribas, Siemens and others. Cordula was for more than 10 years Visiting Professor at Arizona State University and continues to be invited by international university programmes around the world. At TBS she has conceived, implemented and launched the first AeroSpace MBA in 1999. She is in charge of the specialized Master in Air Transport with ENAC (French Civil Aviation Graduate School) and has developped and successfully launched various other Aerospace degree programmes and Executive trainings, among them Courses for French and Chinese managers for AFI and the second tbs Aerospace MBA programme with the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, India. She is married to a French husband and mother to one daughter and one son.
