Clive Howe

Clive has developed the ec@ps strategic planning methodology which is a simple one page strategic plan that is executed through an on-line web based system. This allows for easy understanding and effective execution of any strategy.

He has written 2 books on the process and has facilitated many strategic planning sessions with large and small organisations throughout Africa, The United Kingdom, Europe and Australia. He has written a book called “Simple Solutions to Strategic Success.” Based on the ec@ps model.

Clive also lectures for Stellenbosch Business School on the Senior Management Development Programme.

After teaching for several years Clive ended his teaching career as Headmaster of a large Preparitory School. Clive then went into the tyre industry in the sales department becoming branch manager and General Manager for a large tyre company in KwazuluNatal.

He started his own training consultancy in 1990 having lectured on the PRISA, IMM, Sales and Business Management programmes for Damlin and Executive Education.

Clive is a strategy consultant who focuses mainly on Strategic Execution. He has worked throughout South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Malawi, Zambia, Namibia, Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, Tanzania, Mozambique, Europe, Australia and the United Kingdom.

From 1993 – 1995 he was an Executive Director for the Key Group.

Over the past 18 years, Clive has developed the ec@ps (Compass Aligned Performance System) He developed ec@ps which is a web based performance management tool to monitor strategic performance and individual performance.
