Biography
IMD Business School
Christian Wildmoser is partner at CVC. He joined in 2000 and is mainly working from the Zurich office. In addition to his contributions to the firm's participations in the German-speaking region (including Evonik and Flint Group), Christian Wildmoser coordinates CVC's global activities in the chemicals sector. He also devotes time to CVC's contributions to the community and was, for instance, a member of the CVC charity team that raised over US$ 1 million climbing the Kilimanjaro as part of a philanthropy initiative.
Before joining CVC, Christian Wildmoser worked as the CEO of Helarb Management S.A., a private equity firm in Lausanne. Earlier career steps include positions at B. Metzler Seel. Sohn & Co. in Frankfurt and New York, eventually as Co-Head of Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Finance, and at Manufacturers Hanover Trust in Frankfurt and New York.
Christian Wildmoser is an Austrian national and holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Vienna. In his free time, the father of three grown-up children plays electric guitar in a rock band.
