Benson Lim

Experienced application specialist who provides timely and quality scientific support to Bio-Rad digital biology platforms in SEA, including training, pre- post-sale support, LDT development, assay design, and troubleshooting. Originally trained as a plant geneticist I ventured and established myself in the field of cardiovascular research in both clinical and pre-clinical settings. Throughout my academic career, I have acquired extensive experiences and knowledge in molecular biology, plant genetics, cardiovascular genetics, RNA biology, and next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies. Adept in both written and oral presentations I also possess a creative mindset for experimental designs and developing novel methodologies to answer challenging research questions. Recipient of several competitive grants (locally and internationally) and authored multiple first-author publications.
