Antonio Vazquez

Antonio Vazquez joined the Department of Accounting in September of 2019. He holds a PhD in Business and Finance and an MSc in Business and Quantitative Methods from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Antonio's research interests lie at the intersection of corporate governance and financial accounting with a focus on boards of directors. His current projects study how directors and officers' individual incentives and attention shape the financial reporting process and other firm outcomes. Antonio is also interested in corporate social responsibility and topics in law and finance.

Prior to joining the Department, Antonio was a lecturer in Corporate Finance and Financial Statement Analysis at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and spent a term as a visiting researcher at the Carroll School of Management, MA.
