Ana Paula has over 25 years of experience in the higher education/executive education industry, leading business development activities in online and blended learning.

Ana currently acts as Business Development Director at IOB, a software and knowledge company which provides solutions to accounting firms and small and medium size businesses.

In 2020, Ana became the first female President at British Chamber of Commerce in Brazil. For 8 years, Ana acted as Regional Director at The University of Manchester in South America, based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Besides her executive role at The University of Manchester, Ana has developed consultancy services on gender in the workplace and delivers lectures on the topic of gender equality. Ana was a Senior Associate at BMI – Blue Management Institute, a Brazilian boutique consulting firm on leadership and strategy programmes to Board Members, CEOs/C-level executives.

Ana Paula has a consistent educational background in Business Management, having an MSc from FGV-EAESP with a research on knowledge management and corporate universities; in 2012 concluded her PhD, also at FGV-EAESP, with a research on women as managers in Brazil. Her thesis was awarded the best post-graduate research at FGV in 2012.

Ana Paula was a lecturer in ‘People Management and Organizational Behaviour’ on the Global MBA at Alliance Manchester Business School for 5 years, with classes in Shanghai, Dubai and Sao Paulo. Ana Paula is fluent in English as a second language and Portuguese as a native speaker.
