Dr Alvina Goh leads the Artificial Intelligence Platforms team in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Division at GovTech. She and her team focus on frontier computational technologies and develop whole-of-government big data analytics and artificial intelligence platforms that enable agencies to use data approaches for policy making and service delivery. She has broad domain expertise in sensor analytics, speech processing, machine learning, computer vision, and medical imaging. Prior to GovTech, she was heading the Sensor Analytics Lab at DSO National Laboratories. She obtained her Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. She is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Department of Mathematics at the National University of Singapore.
