Alicia Beatrice

CEO and Founder at Black Family Business / Adjunct Professor

Biography

Alicia’s relentless devotion to racial equity, social justice, and human rights issues emerged from her ongoing evolution of kicking generational trauma, postpartum depression, and anxiety to the curb. She has published several research-based books on mental health and spirituality - From Exile to EMBRACE: 7 Secrets to Lead a Happier Life Through Love and Forgiveness; From Exile to EMBRACE: Confessions of Successful Women Leaders and Crazy Confessions: Defeat Depression, Dodge Suicide and Dare to Live.

In Alicia’s spare time, she enjoys time with God, spending time with her 2 sons, singing, listening to live music and good food.

This isn’t Alicia Beatrice’s first rodeo – I’ve bootstrapped for longer than I anticipated personally and worn many hats professionally. From graduating college to publishing several books on mental health and spirituality, and falling back in love with myself as a soulful artist and dancer, blah, blah, blah. Titles don’t matter much to me nowadays, but the only One that means more to me than my life is I AM I AM’s Daughter. If you don’t know you better ask somebody about the “OG” who sustains me, and you too!
