Alexis Cheong, strategist in Havas Media, works with the agency's insights and research manager as well as media planners to pull the best of media, content and strategy together, be it for current clients or new business proposals. Her past year in Havas Media was recognised recently with a merit award as IAS’s Rising Star of the Year (Strategic Planner) 2017.

Prior to joining Havas Media, she was a planner and the head of social media at Tribal DDB for 1 and a half years out of the four years there, managing a team of five full-time community managers and interns. She was instrumental in winning the SilkAir account both for creative and social retainer and oversees its management, along with DBS/POSB’s social media and other government social media accounts like HPB, NLB, MCI and MND. She was also the social media lead in setting up the Facebook Page for Esso Singapore, which spanned across 9 months and many many conference calls.

Alexis is also certified by the Institute of Adult Learning with the Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) for adults, which was motivated by her passion in improving the industry's marketing skills/knowledge.

With 7 years of deep experience in the social media and digital marketing sphere amongst a wide range of brands and clients such as Unilever, SilkAir, DBS, FairPrice, Singtel and government clients, Alexis remains enthusiastic about the power of social media to create measurable impact for marketers.
