Biography
Bristol Business School
My research interests focus on prison labour and prisoners' experiences of work before, during and after prison. This includes the mainstream world of work, but also alternative forms of 'work' in the subterranean labour market. I am interested in the use of qualitative research methods, particularly ethnography, to understand daily life within the working environment.
