Zafrul Hasan

Associate Professor at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology

Biography

-

Zafrul has received his PhD in Medical Sciences and his focus was on Anti-HIV immunity from Kumamoto University, Kumamoto, Japan, on 2012. He successfully completed his two posdocs in Japan and research focus was Alzhiemer disease and Autoimmunity in mice model. Now-a-days Dr. Zafrul serving BMB department at SUST as faculty member with others. Hasan completed his MS and BSc in “Dept. of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology” University of Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh. After MS, Hasan worked as a Research Officer in Virology laboratory, icddr,b, Dhaka and the primary responsibility was to run experiments for syphilis, HIV and hepatitis (B and C) for the annual Serological Surveillance of HIV that was conducting for the Government of Bangladesh. Exploring new places, new cultures, making friends, driving, watching movies, are the few things Zafrul like most.
