King’s Business School
Yi Ling Ong joined King’s Business School as a Teaching Fellow in Accounting in September 2018. Before joining King’s, Yi Ling completed her PhD at the University of Edinburgh Business School. Taking a “three-paper” format, Yi Ling’s PhD thesis examined the enrolment of auditing and calculative technologies in the UK television industry.
She has a broad interest in the role and operation of accounting in popular culture settings, and the media in particular. Yi Ling’s working papers have been presented at conferences including the Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Accounting, Critical Perspectives on Accounting and the European Accounting Association.
